Worship Always

This powerful message takes us deep into Acts 16, where we encounter Paul and Silas in their darkest hour—beaten, bloodied, and shackled in a maximum-security prison cell. Yet at midnight, something extraordinary happens: they begin to worship. This isn't a story about fair-weather faith or conditional praise; it's a profound revelation about when we are called to worship. The central question confronts us directly: Is God worthy only when life is good, or is He worthy regardless of our circumstances? We learn that true worship cannot be situational or dependent on our feelings, our bank accounts, our health reports, or our relationships. Either God is unchanging, holy, and worthy—or He isn't. The earthquake that follows their praise reminds us that our worship has power beyond what we can see, and their obedience in the midst of suffering led to an entire household coming to faith. This message challenges us to examine our own hearts: What are we going through right now, and is God still worthy of our praise in the middle of it? The call is clear—we are being shaped not as fair-weather worshipers, but as people who will dance on our shackles because our God is worthy, no matter what prison walls surround us.
