Be The One

This message challenges us to move from a 'one mentality' to a '99 mentality' based on Jesus' parable of the lost sheep in Matthew 18. The shepherd leaves the 99 sheep to rescue the one that wandered off, not because the 99 are abandoned, but because they know and obey the shepherd's voice. The powerful truth here is that once we've been rescued from the ditch of sin and shame, we're called to stop jumping back in. Too often, we live like we still need rescuing when Jesus has already set us free. We play with the same sins He delivered us from, bind ourselves with chains He's already broken, and wallow in shame He's already washed away. But God is calling us to level up and live in the freedom He's purchased for us. When we move into the 99, we position ourselves to partner with Jesus in rescuing others who are still lost. We can't find the one if we're still living like the one. This 99-year legacy of faith we're celebrating isn't just about looking back, it's about committing to make room for one more, to continue being a place where the lost can be found, the broken can be healed, and the wandering can come home. The question is: are we ready to go all in?
